The Wire Loop Box is a simple and effective product used to connect precast pieces or precast to in-situ. It is mostly used to link slabs, walls, and columns. Before the panel is cast, wire loop boxes are added to the formwork at the necessary spacing to handle the shear loads. The protective tape is removed once the formwork is removed, and the loop is opened with a hammer or a pin. Wall panels are erected and supported as planned. A vertical rebar is inserted through the loops in a joint, and the horizontal position of the loops is examined. After the formwork is finished, concrete grout is injected or pumped into the joint. Standard wire lengths of 60 mm, 80 mm, 100 mm, 120 mm, and 140 mm are available for joint depths ranging from 80 mm to 140 mm.
